Dr. Fabian Pitter Steinmetz is a certified toxicologist conducting interdisciplinary research. He studied process engineering at Trier University of Applied Sciences and toxicology in Ireland (AIT and NUI Galway). He completed his PhD in predictive toxicology at Liverpool John Moores University in England. After gaining some experience in the pharmaceutical industry, he now works for the international consulting firm Delphic HSE. He is also an active member of several NGOs and expert networks. There, Steinmetz advocates for human rights-compliant and evidence-based drug policies. In 2024, he received the Hanfadler for Science, an award from the German Hemp Association, for his commitment.
