Franz Josef Sima is Horticulture Service Specialist at Fluence and in this capacity advises medicinal cannabis as well as CBD producers. Sima was born into an Austrian family of gardeners and has been passionate about plants from a young age. He has been working in the cannabis industry for over 15 years and is dedicated to medical cannabis. 

In 2019- 2021, he was instrumental in the design, construction and execution of a large-scale project in Northern Macedonia, built and executed to the highest pharmaceutical standards (EU GAP & GMP). Sima has also consulted to several operations in South Africa. There he has adapted the cultivation and post-harvest processes so that the flowers meet the high requirements for the German medicinal cannabis market. Currently there are 5 medicinal flowers with Simas participation on the German market. For Fluence he advises customers in Portugal, the Netherlands, Israel, England, South Africa, Switzerland and Austria. The goal is always to help companies bring a medicinal product to market as quickly as possible that meets all regulatory requirements while improving the efficiency of cultivation methods.
